Tester checklist · Updated September 20, 2026
Here’s where
we are.
Our next milestone is a tester using the whole app, with their chosen Circle member receiving the right information.
Available to invited testers
Private daily use is ready to try.
iOS 0.1.0 (12) and Android 0.1.0 (9) include check-ins, medication logs, local reminder setup and support plans. Both now add Circle location sharing with recipient acceptance, timed or until-revoked permission, and pause/stop controls.
Now in TestFlight and Google Play testing
A simpler app to test
iOS build 10 and Android build 7 simplify Settings, account setup, recovery and purchase status. Medication search now includes over 10,000 offline brand and generic name/form choices. Trends uses one main chart, and Yellow offers optional ways to reach out.
Sign-in and password reset have been confirmed on an iPhone. A TestFlight purchase completed, but WithFolk could not verify it. A fix is live; premium access still needs confirmation on the phone. Medication logs stay on the device. Check-ins stay local unless you enable an agreed mood alert; a matching new check-in then shares its color and time with the chosen Circle member.
The priorities, in order
- Accounts and full premium: verify the new store test purchase, restore and account-access flow on tester phones, then finish the features that use that access.
- Mood, medication and Trends: verify daily entries, the delivered charts and reminders on real phones.
- Circle: test the delivered invitation, acceptance and removal flow on both phones, then connect permitted information sharing.
- Location: test timed or until I revoke it sharing in iOS 11 and Android 8. Check approximate/precise location, update times, locked phones and Stop sharing. Browser access for people without the app remains unfinished.
- Alerts: send agreed level-based alerts to the chosen people, with delivery and acknowledgement states.
- Complete app and web test: prove the whole flow from account and test purchase through sharing, alerting and revocation.
- Health comparisons: connect Apple Health / Health Connect, including supported Fitbit data, then compare HRV, resting heart rate and sleep with mood.
What is still unavailable
iOS 12 adds local Apple Health imports and the signed-in mood alert view. Android 9 is available with Health Connect imports. The health declaration is saved; Google review and phone access are still pending. iPhone push setup is complete; banner delivery needs phone testing. Private recipient web views, scheduled escalation and health-triggered alerts remain unfinished. Real health reads and two-phone alert/location verification are pending. Real test-purchase and restore results also need confirmation on phones.
This website is already hosted online at withfolk.app; it does not depend on the development computer. The full connected app milestone is still in progress.
Help us check the next version
When the update appears in your testing app, try the guide, save a check-in and explore the chart. For account setup, follow email verification, then choose optional authenticator setup or Skip for now. Try the redesigned medication form with name suggestions, dose shortcuts, day-part presets and food instructions. If you enroll an authenticator, wait for a new code to finish sign-in.
Report the app version, phone model and the step that failed to support. Please leave private health data, passwords and authenticator codes out of reports.
