Request deletion of your WithFolk account and understand what happens to your data.

Request by email

If you cannot use the app, email our support contact with the subject “WithFolk account deletion.” You do not need to reinstall WithFolk to start a request.

Request account deletion

Your email app will open. Send from your account email if you still control it. We must verify account ownership before deleting data. Never include a password, authenticator code, private sharing link or health details.

Request in the app

  1. In a build with accounts enabled, sign in to your WithFolk account.
  2. Open Settings → Privacy, export and deletion → Review account deletion.
  3. Confirm your identity with your password and, if enabled, authenticator, review the scope, then confirm the request.
  4. Check the request status. A pending request is not a completed deletion.

What is removed

The service blocks account access and removes the active WithFolk account information, device sessions and Firebase sign-in identity. It also removes Circle invitations and relationships, including the corresponding connection in the other person’s account. Local check-ins, medication records and support plans are stored separately on each device. Use Review local data export or removal on the Privacy screen to remove those categories.

A limited deletion-status receipt and security record are scheduled for expiry after 30 days. Database recovery history can retain earlier data for up to seven days; expiry cleanup is asynchronous. This process cannot recall files or screenshots you already gave to another person.

Account deletion also removes your account's subscription-status records. One-way purchase-ownership records remain without an automatic expiry to prevent the same purchase being reassigned after deletion. They contain no email address, raw receipt, health entry or location.

Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription. If you have one, manage cancellation through the store as well. Use the tester guide for the current purchase-testing builds.
